Been Awhile!

Hey folks, been awhile since I last posted, but I've been busy.
First up, I'm working on a ton of reviews (already) for March's SFRevu. We had an editorial conference on Sunday and figured out a bunch of upcoming stuff, much of which involves yours truly. Got a lot of legwork to do this next week.
Not only that but:
1- the kittens are getting spayed tomorrow;
2- our condo is getting sprayed tomorrow (taking advantage of the kittens' absence to do a thorough bug-bombing);
3- we have our Virginia primary tomorrow;
4- I'm going to coordinate a big interview in BPD and SFRevu to support the new Wild Cards website from Tor and comic from Dabel Bros.;
5- probably have "shockwave" therapy for a kidney stone (one that is doing some internal harm) on Wednesday;
6- gotta try to set up an interview with Ray Bradbury this month;
7- I get to sleep sometime around Thursday.

As you can see, a lot going on.
Hope you're all doing great and that you'll comment soon.

Sorry to hear about your gallstone!

BTW, if you haven't heard through the grapevine, my mother fell and broke her shoulder yesterday. She's on her way home from MA and Dad is working to schedule surgery in Tucson later this week. In all likelihood she will make a complete recovery.

Ray Bradbury? For some reason I thought he had passed away? Makes me think of the Martian Chronicles mini series. Was that late 70s or early 80s?

Hey guys! Glad so to hear from you!

I had the kidney stone broken up by soundwaves yesterday-- a day which included taking our kittens to be spayed, voting AND coping with truly miserable weather. An epic adventure all around.

My doctor wants a follow-up but expects I'll make a full recovery very quickly. Much better than renal failure!

Peter, very sorry to hear about your mother. I don't think we have their current address but I can email her a get-well card tonight. Hope she'll recover quickly as well.

And thanks, Paul! I'm sure you have a lot on your mind these days but hope that all is terrific.

Take care, and I'll talk with you soon!

Oh, and Bradbury is still alive. He's in his 80s and not walking much, but Kat and I saw him in passing at San Diego last summer. Should be a real treat to interview him though I haven't read his latest work. Ah well.
best,
Drew
