Kat and I are going to see The Spiderwick Chronicles sneak preview here in DC tonight. (We thought it was last night but there was a mixup regarding the date...)
Honestly, we can't wait. We've gotten to know Holly Black just a little (hi, Holly!) and are very eager to see her and Tony diTerlizzi's work translated to the silver screen.
Initial reviews have been fantastic, particularly for Freddie Highmore (perhaps best known as Charlie Bucket in the recent "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" film) and Nick Nolte. We're going to write up a review for SFRevu's February issue, so check back there tomorrow and see what we think.
